Following the post Olympic funding that primary schools are receiving from the Department of Education, it is vital that we at Wheatfields Junior School make PE and Sport an integral part of every child's education. This area of the website outlines the things that we are doing to help achieve this aim.

We are thrilled to announce that Wheatfields Junior School has been awarded the Platinum Award that recognises continued established good practice throughout PE and Sport at Wheatfields Junior School thanks to the dedication of the School staff.

Ambition Education Trust

Our Trust comprises of 10 schools situated in Hertfordshire across St Albans, Welwyn Garden City and Hemel Hempstead. We comprise of three primary, one infants, one junior and five secondary schools, with over 800 staff delivering high quality education to 7500 young people aged from 3 to 18.
